Ilam Petrochemical Company · Chawar, Ilam
Keeping a whole complex alive.
Comprehensive operation, maintenance and overhaul of the entire Ilam Petrochemical Complex — 300,000 t/y HDPE, 460,000 t ethylene and 120,000 t propylene of production capacity entrusted to one contractor.
Project overview
Since July 2020 Kahroba Tavan has been the maintenance contractor of the Ilam Petrochemical Complex — winning the tender twice in open competition with the country's first-tier oil and gas contractors, and extending the engagement through three consecutive contracts worth over $30M in total.
The scope covers every discipline — mechanical, piping, civil, electrical and instrumentation — across every unit: the Olefin site, HDPE plant, sulfur recovery unit (SRU), utility, industrial wastewater, hydrogen unit, offsite, the ethylene line and the complex power plant.
